This scan controls whether a virus scanner is installed on the client and whether this virus scanner is supported by K-iS MultiScan VirusScan. At the same time, the solution monitors whether the latest version of the virus scanner is installed and whether the scanner is active. If an update is necessary, a pop-up window opens automatically. The user can get to the website of the corresponding software vendor by using a link displayed in this pop-up window. This way, updates are executed very comfortably. Another way of installing updates fast and reliably is to use the automated scripting interface.
